Club-Moss Mat

A club-moss mat of creeping lycopods (Lycopodium and Selaginella): a low mat 1.5 x 1.0 m and about 0.2 m tall of forking upright shoots, each a slim tube of tiny faceted scale leaves, the tallest tipped with small ochre-yellow spore cones.
